The Flights

We highly recommend that you reserve our assistance and transfer service upon your arrival in the Caracas airport (US$ 10 per person for transfer). If the connecting flight to Los Roques cannot be met, we can also arrange transportation from the airport to a local hotel for the night and back to the airport on the next day (US$20 per person).

Starting July 1, 2006 and in collaboration with a well-known travel agency offering IATA tickets since 1972, we are able to offer our guests the best international rates from any Italian city with destination Caracas / Venezuela.

Below is a table with rates departing from Rome, Milan, Bologna or Venice. Write to us to confirm availability and to request rates from other Italian cities.

The costs for handling the reservation will be covered by us.

Caracas - Los Roques

Connection to Caracas is guaranteed by many local companies which fly several times a day between the city and Los Roques. For two years, Posada Lagunita has established a successful working relationship with Bluestar, a company with an excellent fleet and flexible schedules, organized as follows:

If you are late and do not meet the connecting internal flight due to delays in other flights, a $40 penalty fee per passenger will be charged by the airline, plus the cost of the missed night of “sleeping” in the posada (40 euro). Passengers will be booked on the first available flight on the following morning.

The planes in use vary depending on the airline company. In any case, there is a maximum of 40 seats, bearing in mind the small dimension of the Los Roques runway.

Flight times vary between 30 to 40 minutes.
