In order to arrive at Los Roques, a stop has to be made al Caracas (CCS), Venezuela's largest airport and one of the most important ports of South America. From there, connection flights are totally guaranteed, because several local companies offer a wide array of schedules to and from the islands.
Aircraft size may vary according to the company. Nevertheless, maximum capacity is 40 seats, due to the limited dimensions of the airport at Los Roques. Therefore, it is recommended to travel with light, flexible luggage, under 15 kg of weight (33 pounds).
The estimated flying time is 30-40 minutes.

PLEASE NOTE: Every passenger arriving from Europe must spend the night at Caracas City, because of the arrival time of the European flights.
This might not be the case for passengers flying with KLM or Alitalia if they wish to fly in the afternoon towards Los Roques, as long as the former arrive on time. Otherwise the night should be spent in Caracas.
A transfer service is offered from the International Airport to the selected hotel and from the hotel back to the airport the next morning.
