Once a fishermen's house, Posada Lagunita offers accommodation in seven comfortable rooms with private bathroom and ceiling-mounted fans, each decorated in a fine Mediterranean style.

The Posada offers a large common area, offering comfort and relax to our guests. In there, you will find a ventilated and fully equipped living room with a hi-fi system, internet desk and a dining area where food is served and enjoyed. A large, magnificent inner Spanish patio with a shaded tropical garden offers a fresh area with sofas and tables for dining outside or relaxing.

The upper level offers two large terraces, one with a corner bar where evening drinks and appetizers are served while the other has a small barbecue grill, where we can prepare delicious grilled fish and meat dishes for our guests.

THE ROOMS

The Posada offers 7 spacious, comfortable, well-ventilated rooms furnished with care in a casual, tropical Caribbean style.

Each of the rooms has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, satellite TV (Rai, MTV, CNN, etc.) and private bathroom. The posada also has its own independent electrical generator.

Los Roques Archipelago

The Los Roques Archipelago, national park since 1972, is made up of 350 islands and atolls of white sand beaches immersed in an always calm sea and enjoys pleasant temperatures year round. The waters are very transparent and very rich in colors that take your breath away.

The coral reef surrounding the Archipelago is a rich habitat, home to hundreds of the most colorful tropical fish, coral formations of incredible shapes and marine tortoises.

Under the generous shadow of palm trees, mangroves and “uva de playa” trees provide a home to large colonies of marine birds like pelicans, frigates, cormorants, seagulls, herons and flamingos.

Gran Roque is the Archipelago's only island that is inhabited by humans: it is home to a few hundred fishermen and hosts the small airport and small posadas that offer accommodation to tourists year round. Located in the wonderful Caribbean Sea approximately 150 km (95 miles) to the north of the Venezuelan coastline, the island of Gran Roque can be reached from the Caracas Maqueteia International Airport on one of the many daily 30 minute flights available.
